Description
Physical therapy for soccer players deals with the prevention, detection, and treatment of injuries to the major areas of the body. The physical therapist evaluates the anatomy, physiology, and biomechanics of the individual. The physical therapist then develops a program of recovery based on the evaluation, including activity, exercise, rest, therapeutic modalities, and orthotic devices. The therapist evaluates all these rehabilitation processes to prevent injuries or improve performance for the athlete. Though, the time frame for recovery depends on the severity of the condition. But it takes a minimum of 3–6 months to return to total activity if you get the proper treatment.
