ICMEI and MIICCIA Chamber of Commerce & Industry Join Hands to Strengthen Cultural, Trade, and Industrial Cooperation
New Delhi, 10th December 2025: In a significant step toward expanding bilateral cooperation and global outreach, the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI) has formally joined hands with the MIICCIA Chamber of Commerce & Industry. The collaboration aims to promote deeper engagement in the fields of commerce, culture, media, and international relations.
Dr. Sandeep Marwah, President of ICMEI, expressed his delight at this strategic partnership and said, “ICMEI has always believed in building strong global alliances that encourage cultural diplomacy, creative partnerships, and new business opportunities. Our association with MIICCIA will stimulate meaningful collaborations across diverse sectors and open new avenues for growth.”
Ambassador Anil Trigunayat, President of MIICCIA Chamber of Commerce & Industry and a distinguished member of the Board of Advisers of BRICS Chamber of Commerce, welcomed the initiative. He said, “MIICCIA is committed to expanding India’s engagement with global markets and cultural institutions. Partnering with ICMEI strengthens our shared mission of fostering cooperation, innovation, and cross-border collaborations.”
During the ceremony, Dr. Sandeep Marwah honoured Ambassador Anil Trigunayat with the Life Membership of the International Film and Television Research Centre (IFTRC) of ICMEI, acknowledging his contributions to international diplomacy, global partnerships, and industry development.
Both organizations affirmed their commitment to working together on joint programs, cultural exchanges, business delegations, research initiatives, and events aimed at promoting India’s global presence in trade, media, and entertainment.
The partnership marks a significant milestone in aligning commerce with culture, diplomacy with development, and industry with innovation.
