Opening Film Myn Bala from Kazakhstan Won the Hearts at 14th GFFN

Film Federation of India extends its heartiest congratulations on the opening of 14th edition of Global Film Festival and especially to the country of Kazakhstan for the opening film,” said T.P. Agarwal President FFI.
“The festival has 52 events in three days including 9 seminars, 14 workshops, 9 award winning international films, retrospective of Director Rahul Rawail, AAFT Films, ASMS Films, Films on Disability, Children’s Films, 7 Exhibitions, 3 discussions on Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru, Mahatma Gandhi and Shakespeare, 3 Important days Disability Day, Navy Day, World Computer Literacy Day, Launching of new film on Mental Health, a musical evening, a fashion show and an award function. This festival will take everyone to new film spiritualism,” said Sandeep Marwah President of 14th GFFN.
Present on the occasion HE Asein Isaev Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan mentioned about his festival at Marwah Studios last month as the curtain raiser of 14th GFFN. HE Andrey Rzheussky Ambassador of Belarus expressed his deep interest in the participation next year. HE Dilshod Akhatov Ambassador of Uzbekistan informed about Marwah Studios participation in Tashkent International Film Festival in October this year. HE Lukmon Bobokalozoda Ambassador of Tajikistan expressed his desire to launch Indo Tajikstan Film and Cultural Forum at ICMEI.
“I have been to almost best of the festivals of the World, never ever seen this kind of arrangements, events and energy. Dr. Marwah is indeed a Global Media Person and source of inspiration for the Global Media and Entertainment Industry,” added Mike Berry of Universal Studios of United States of America.
The feature film Myn Bala directed by Akan Satayev, produced by Ana Kachkon, music by Renat Gaysin from Kazakhstan was screened as the opening film was 100 minutes and real piece of art. Myn Bala is a 2011 Kazakhstani historical dramatic film depicting the eighteenth century war fought between the Kazakhs and the Dzungar Khanate. The film was made to commemorate the 20th anniversary of Kazakhstan’s independence from the Soviet Union. Its production cost over $7 million USD.
