M.Pharm Course: The M.Pharma or Masters in Pharmacy course is a postgraduate level course usually chosen by students after obtaining their Bachelor's or B.Pharma. This is a two-year course, spread over four semesters. In some universities, however, this course is also offered for a research year and a theoretical year. The course covers the related topics of chemical sciences, the division of health, and other related subtopics that lead to the proper use of medicines. The candidate interested in taking the M.Pharm course must have obtained a three-year degree from a recognized institute or university, with an overall mark equal to or greater than 50%. The course aims to provide students with the necessary knowledge on the practical aspects of research methodologies, industrial and technical operations, research methodologies, etc. Teaches students to prepare for the correct use, dispensing, and preparation of medications to ensure safe and effective health with minimal side effects. Candidates after obtaining the M.Pharm degree must submit a thesis and sit an entrance examination. Students can also opt for specialist areas within the degree. Some of the specializations offered are Nutrition, Pharmacy, Chemical Pharmacy, Cardiovascular Pharmacy, Pharmaceutical Practice, Psychiatric Pharmaceutical Studies, Infectious Disease Pharmacy, etc.
