Undergraduate students who enroll in BMM will have a strong foundation in communication skills. In the academic year 2000–2001, the University of Mumbai introduced the BMM programme for the first time. Students are educated for a variety of media careers within the programme, including print and television. BMM Course has a three-year, six-semester length. In the third year, pupils can pick from a variety of disciplines, including journalism and advertising. This programme gives the students useful information on the state of the media today while also assisting them in improving their writing and presenting abilities. Successful media professionals including journalists and advertising executives emerge from the BMM Course. Based on one's interests, there are several work prospects, such as Audio and Video Journalism, TV and Radio Communication, Cinema, Advertising, PR, Event Management & Magazines, and Newspapers as modes of communication.
