UGC to Conduct Common Entrance Test
- Location: Noida, Noida, Uttar Pradesh, India
According to a recent announcement from the UGC, the CUET Exam would be required for enrollment in all UG programs provided by all central universities.
All 12th-grade graduates would no longer have to worry about getting the perfect 100 in order to get into prestigious Indian universities like Delhi University, Jamia Milia Islamia, Banaras Hindu University, Aligarh Muslim University, and others.
This new strategy will relieve Class 12 students of the pressure to achieve very high results in order to reach the cut-off requirements.
This means that instead of using the marks from the 12th board, central universities will have to base admittance to various UG programs on CUET scores.
The good news for all 12th graders is that your grades won't matter when it comes to getting into college because the results of your class 12 exams will only be used as a qualification standard, not an admission one.
But in order to get accepted into India's top colleges, you must do well on the CUET (Central University Entrance Test).
