Sandeep Marwah Commended for Seven Years of Dedicated Support

New Delhi 20th Oct,2023: Dr. Sandeep Marwah, a distinguished figure in the realms of film, television, and media, was recently honored for his unwavering commitment to fostering cultural ties between India and the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Her Excellency Capaya Rodrigues Gonzalez, the Ambassador of Venezuela to India, extended her heartfelt appreciation for Dr. Marwah’s invaluable contribution spanning seven years since the establishment of the Indo Venezuela Film and Cultural Forum in New Delhi.

The Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela, through this collaboration, has actively participated in numerous significant cultural and artistic events in India. Notably, it has been a steadfast partner in seven Global Film Festivals, seven editions of the Global Literary Festival, seven instalments of the Global Festival of Journalism, and seven Global Fashion Week events in Noida. These engagements have allowed Venezuela to showcase its rich art and culture to diverse audiences in India.

Venezuela holds a special place in the heart of the International Chamber of Media and Entertainment Industry (ICMEI), consistently featuring on its priority list for cultural exchange and cooperation. Dr. Marwah’s persistent dedication to strengthening the bond between the two nations has contributed significantly to this enduring partnership.

During the commendation event, Rojyar Seyeddi, Minister Counsellor, and Alfredo Caldera, Cultural Counsellor, were also present, underscoring the significance of the collaboration and expressing their gratitude for Dr. Marwah’s instrumental role in promoting the cultural vibrancy of Venezuela in India.
