To forward your Telstra (BigPond) emails to another account, do as follows. First of all, log into your BigPond email account through Telstra Webmail. After logging in, proceed to the “Settings” or “Preferences” section where you will see the link for email forwarding management.
Click on that link and type in the new address where you want to forward emails. There is an option to set up forwarding, which will redirect all incoming emails to that address without further action, or a specific set of emails can be forwarded using preset filters. After entering the forwarding email address, do not forget to click on the save changes button. Entering an email that does not exist will lead to failure in the forwarding of emails as desired. Besides that, make sure that a test email sent to your BigPond account is also forwarded as intended. If it still fails, you can explain the problem to Telstra customer service.
