- Location: Sector C, Ahraura, Uttar Pradesh, India
Introduction
In this blog post, we will discuss how to integrate a customer login module using mobile number in Magento. This module can be used by the store owners to allow customers to login and checkout using their mobile number. Once the customer has logged in, they can continue shopping as usual.
To implement this module, you will first need to acquire a mobile number for your customers. You can either purchase a number from a third-party service or generate one using your Magento installation. After you have acquired the mobile number, you will need to create an integration with your Magento store. The process of integrating the plugin is relatively simple and can be done by following these steps:
1) Navigate to System > Settings > Security and then click on Login Modules under the Authentication heading.
2) On the next page, scroll down until you see the Mobile Number Login Module option and click on it.
3) On the next page, enter your customer's mobile number into the relevant fields and click on Save Changes.
4) Next, you will need to create a configuration file for the plugin. To do this, navigate to System > Settings > Web Server Configuration > Authentication and then click on Add Configuration File under the Login Modules heading.
5) In the dialog that appears, enter the path to your configuration file (in our example, we would enter http://magento-server/etc/mobile_number_login/mobile
How to Setup Customer Login By Mobile Number Module For Magento2?
If you are setting up a customer login module for Magento2, you will need to gather some information about your users. This includes their mobile numbers. You can get this data from your customers using the contact form on your website or by contacting them directly.
Once you have gathered this information, you will need to create a route in the Magento2 module configuration file called 'customer_login'. The route will look something like this:
Route::get('/customer_login', function() { $user = Customer::findById(1); if($user) { // process user input } });
Next, you will need to create a block in the same file called 'customer_login_handler'. This block will contain the code that handles the user input. In it, you will need to check for the presence of a mobile number and if it is present, use that number to log in to your account.
